Teenage Mental Wellbeing-Training for Professionals
This course is tailored to meet individual learning needs, they are engaging, with resources, quizzes, short videos and Power Point presentations. The content is kept updated to increase learning outcome and to help both the participant and the trainer to have a shared understanding of the progress and areas for further development, feedback evaluation is continuous and consistent. Forums/peer support/group work is offered to give you an opportunity to share experiences and best practice with other trainees/trainers and agencies. For both theory and practice, the expectation is for trainees to complete all assignments and tasks, in house practice- promotion, assessments, interventions, report writing and contributions to group work. Certificates are issued upon completion.
Assessments will vary and will be adapted to meet academic, service and personal needs. Assessments will include essays, reflective practice, practice-based assessments, presentations, case studies, and data analysis workshop presentations with supporting papers. Participants can choose to gain 60 credits for a postgraduate certificate and 120 credits for postgraduate diploma and 180 credits and Masters’ level. Participants have to do an introduction to research methods and applied data analysis (30 credits) and critical approaches to advanced practice (15 credits)
